About Our Team
Our dedicated team of instructors work with people of all ages, starting at 6 months, to develop safety skills and proper swimming technique.
About Us
Our Mission
Mountain Wave Swimming is a Swim School in Southeastern Idaho that provides a method of swim instruction specifically designed to help all ages develop the ability to interact safely with water. We offer lessons for infants, toddlers, and non-swimmers that give them the skills to safely interact with water and prepare them to use correct swimming technique. Whether you are looking for more family confidence on your summer vacation, or preparing your child for a future swim team, we are ready and able to help you reach your goals. We specialize in working with babies and toddlers on self-rescue in case of emergency.
Drowning continues to be the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4. Studies have found that swim lessons that put safety first can be an added layer of protection and lowers the chances of a child ending up in a drowning accident. Contact us at (208) 403-5059 to set up a time to walkthrough our facility and talk to an instructor about how we can help you reach your swimming goals!

Emilee
Head instructor and Co-founder
Emilee is our head instructor and co-founder at Mountain Wave Swimming. She has spent the past 10 years teaching stroke technique and water safety skills to children and adults ranging in age from 2 months to 60 years old, and particularly loves working with infants and kids with special needs. As a child and young adult she competed on various competitive swim teams, including the Rigby HS (Rigby, ID) and Kelly Walsh HS (Casper, WY) varsity swim teams.
This Fall, Emilee will be teaching Safety Lessons while also assisting with Mommy and Me, Group Lessons, and training new instructors.
In Winter Emilee will be teaching lessons Tuesday/Thursday 3:00pm-5:00pm

Allyson
Co-founder
Allyson is our cofounder at Mountain Wave Swim School. She was first introduced to Water Safety Lessons 3 years ago when she took her, then, 2-year old little boy to them. While he loved the water, he had snuck away many times to try and jump in alone. She was amazed at the progress he made and how quickly he became independent in the water and quickly decided she wanted to be trained in Water Safety as well! She has taught swim lessons and stroke technique for over 10 years and is excited to be back in Idaho helping families find safety and confidence!

“My daughter is difficult when it comes to water, but the instructor at mountain wave swimming is AMAZING and works so well with her. They use every minute of her lesson to teach her and help her. They don’t waste any time on crying, they just teach. My daughter has improved SO much in just 5 lessons. So impressed. Highly recommend.”
“I was so happy with the results from Mountain Wave Swimming. My daughter is now much more comfortable in the water and doesn’t mind it getting in her ears which was a problem before. Her instructor was very patient through all ten lessons. Would highly recommend them to anyone!”
